2018 Topps 80th Anniversary Wrapper Art Set 2 was released on March 6, 2018 and features the art from three classic Topps trading card sets. For a full checklist of this series — which has new additions every week — click the associated hub button at the top of this page.

Wrapper Art set 2 includes three cards showcasing a great snapshot of Topps’ non-sports offerings over the years. Card #4 is the wrapper art for the 1964 Beatles Color Photos set. The original Beatles Color Photos set was 64 cards of, you guessed it, color photographs of the Fab Four and was one of five sets Topps released devoted to the group that year. Of note, O-Pee-Chee also had two sets that year including a color edition.

Card #5 heads to the movies with the wrapper art for 1979’s Rocky II trading card series. This 99 card set, which also included 22 stickers, features movie stills on a yellow background and a red boxing mitt title card in the corner of each card. Card backs alternated between a linear story and a puzzle piece to a larger image.

The final wrapper art included in this week’s set — card #6 — comes from 1968’s Hot Rods set. This 66 card set included color photos of the coolest custom cards, hot rods, and concept vehicles. Each card back included a lengthy telling of the car’s history.

All three of these cards will be available exclusively online for one week and print runs are limited to total order demand. Use any of the links on this page to be taken directly to the purchase page. Posters for each of these cards are also available for purchase and are not limited by time or print run demand.
