1966 Topps Batman Blue Bat, or Series B, is the third set of cards released in that year which were inspired by the hit television program.
Nicknamed “Blue Bat” because of the blue border and blue bat-shaped title card, the set contains 44 cards illustrated by Norman Saunders. Saunders had previously illustrated the two preceding Batman sets from 1966 as well as the iconic Mars Attacks series. The illustrated Batman cards from 1966 are very popular among collectors and finding high-quality cards from this series can be difficult and pricey but certainly not impossible.
