1961 Bazooka Baseball cards were printed on the back of Bazooka brand bubble gum. Each box contained a panel of three cards which collectors would have to cut very carefully.
In order to receive high grading the card must include the dashed cut line around all four sides otherwise it will simply receive an “authentic” grade — which does not necessarily mean it won’t fetch a hefty sum on eBay.
When cut into individual cards, each card measures approximately 1.8125″x2.75″ which is smaller than a standard baseball card but very near the same proportions. There is no printing on the reverse of these cards.
In 2021, Topps launched a reformatted Throwback Thursday line of cards with the first 12 cards utilizing the design of this series. This checklist is divided by team.
