WrestleMania 34 Matches and Predictions

WrestleMania is the grandest stage of them all when it comes to WWE. The passion, the atmosphere, the pyrotechnics; it’s all accounted for. And that’s what makes the event so spectacular. While WWE makes a ton of mistakes throughout the year, they can usually get it right when it matters the most.

Now, let’s see if I can do the same. Here are my predictions for Wrestleania 34 which is set to kick off tomorrow.

Andre the Giant Battle Royal: Big Cass

Now this is just the ultimate crapshoot. While there are wrestlers like “Woken” Matt Hardy, Dolph Ziggler and Elias who fans would lvoe to see win, WWE loves to give the victory to someone who needs a little bit of a push. Those three mentioned don’t need anything more than themselves.

I’m honestly not too sure if he’s ready to return and if he doesn’t, my backup pick would be Chad Gable.

Women’s Battle Royal: Ruby Riott

For this match, it’ll be interesting to see what surprise entrants there are since there’s only about 14 wrestlers locked in for the match. Riott and her Squad have been rather quiet lately so I expect her to get the win to give them a bit of a push.

Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander

Alexander has been the right choice for a very long time. Long gone is the injury that set him back when 205 Live first began and he’ll be your new Cruiserweight champion.

Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey def. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

Here’s to hoping Rousey makes Stephanie tap out in like 48 seconds. This should be a total squash match, although I know it won’t be.

Raw Women’s Championship: Nia Jax via DQ

Nia is long overdue for the women’s title, but she won’t get it on the biggest stage. However, I see her winning the night after on Raw.

SmackDown Live Women’s Championship: Asuka

Asuka’s streak is one of the best things going in WWE and after she defeats Charlotte, it’ll be that much better. These two should put on a tremendous match and it’s one of my guesses for Match of the Night runner-up.

United States Championship: Rusev

After this match, everyone will finally understand that every day is RUSEV DAY.

Raw Tag Team Championship: Braun Strowman and whoever the hell he wants

Braun is hotter than a summer day in Arizona with a parka on. The fact that this is how WWE utilizes him is pretty sad but, nonetheless, Braun will finally earn himself a belt with a win over The Bar.

SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship: The Usos

The Usos reinvented themselves and stomped all over the competition as they put the entire division on lock down. The New Day and Usos put on classic matches and the addition of The Bludgeon Brothers, this match could be in line for Match of the Night runner-up as well.

Intercontinental Championship: Finn Balor

Finn…. Balor gets the victory with a little help from The Club.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn def. Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon

When Daniel Bryan returned to SD Live, I’m sure he didn’t expect the beat down that he got (of course he did, it’s scripted but just run with it).

However, the destruction that Zayn and Owens laid on McMahon and Bryan weren’t enough to keep the two down. This match should be insane, but the only thing that would make it better is if it was no holds barred.

Universal Championship: Roman Reigns

Yep. I’m ready for this to finally happen. It took me a while to be okay with Reigns winning, but it’s been dreadful watching how unimportant the Universal belt has been with Lesnar as champ.

Stop. Giving. Part. Timers. Belts.

World Heavy Championship: AJ Styles

While Shinsuke Nakamura may have gotten the better of AJ when they met at Wrestle Kingdom, that won’t be the case here. Styles will defeat Nakamura in what I am guaranteeing will be Match of the Night.

Those are my WrestleMania 34 picks. What about you? Tell me your thoughts in the comment section and let’s discuss.
