Of all the songs Paul McCartney brought in to The Beatles, very few were as universally panned by the other three as Maxwell’s Silver Hammer. At some point, John, George, and Ringo have publicly bashed this track but, in true Beatles fashion, they all turned in quality performances and put together a great recording of an arguably goofy little tune.
