1993 Topps Finest baseball cards are among the most iconic cards of the modern era as they are Topps first “high end” set and the first to be printed on Chrome card stock. The checklist is a modest 199 cards with refractor parallels available for each card.
The product was an incredible success and marked the first time a major card company had announced their product print run — 1993 Finest supposedly shipped 4,000 cases.
Cards 84 through 116 were designated “All Star” cards and jumbo versions of those 33 cards were distributed as one per box. These jumbo cards measure 4″x6″ and are considered fairly rare considering the limited print run would only allow for around 1,450 of each card to be distributed.
