1951 Topps Animals of the World trading cards were a sequel set to the 1950 Bring Them Back Alive set. The numbering begins at 101, where Bring Them left off, The design of this set is strikingly different, however, and there’s no mention of Frank Buck whose memoirs were the inspiration for the first set.
The front of each card features a drawing of an animal in front of an off-center color rectangle which creates a very artistic look. The reverse of each card provides detailed information about the animal. The artwork was produced by Mary Lee Baker.
