1933 Goudey Baseball was the first of many baseball card releases by the gum company and were the first by any company to be packaged along with a stick of bubble gum. Along with the T206 and 1952 Topps sets, this is considered one of the most sought after sets of all time.
The rarest card in this series is that of Nap Lajoie of the Cleveland Indians (#106). Goudey did not include this card in packs during the 1933 distribution and the only cards that were issued went to people who complained about not being able to collect the full set in 1934.
