The third batch of cards in Topps’ Living Set were released and include Shohei Ohtani, Russell Martin, and Jackie Bradley Jr. as their subjects. The cards feature artwork by Mayumi Seto and are inspired by the design of 1953’s flagship series.

A full checklist of cards is available on the main page of this hub but the latest addition is as follows:

  • 7 – Shohei Ohtani (RC) is set to make his major league debut on Opening Day this year following a disappointing spring with the Angels. Regarded as the Japanese Babe Ruth, he is making waves in the hobby as the highest-selling card in 2018 Topps Now MLB thus far his debut autograph rookie card from 2018 Topps Heritage is commanding thousands of dollars on eBay. No doubt his market will hold strong if he meets the high expectations placed on his shoulders.
  • 8 – Russell Martin is set to begin his fourth season as a Toronto Blue Jay in 2018. As a Blue Jay, he has posted a .232/.335/.417 batting line and has an average WAR of 2.1 and RAR of 21 over three seasons. He was an All-Star in his 2015 season with the team and has appeared in the Mid-Summer Classic four times in his 12 seasons thus far.
  • 9 – Jackie Bradley Jr. is entering his sixth season with the Boston Red Sox where he will, hopefully, continue to post solid numbers at the plate and in the field. Bradley has posted a positive WAR and dWar in all but his first (37 games) season. In his 2016 All-Star year, he placed first among American League center fielders in putouts, double plays, and defensive games played. He has also ranked in the top three for fielding % as a center fielder.

All three of these cards can be purchased separately or as a set and will only be available for one week. Final print runs are determined by consumer demand and will be displayed on our checklist as they become available. Follow any of the links on this page to be directed to a purchase page.
