Funko to Release Silicon Valley Pop Figures

If you’re a fan of the hit HBO television show Silicon Valley and a fan of Funko Pop figures, you’re going to be very excited in February when a wave of Silicon Valley figures is released in the Television line.

Five figures, expected to hit retail stores in February, highlight the core group of the Pied Piper team and come with all the quirky charm that has endeared the show to many fans. Whether it is Jared in his hideous Pied Piper windbreaker or Erlich in an Aviato t-shirt, there are little details in this initial run that are sure to delight fans of the show.

Silicon Valley was created by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead, Office Space) and premiered in 2014 on the HBO cable network. The story follows the wild ups and downs surrounding a potentially groundbreaking internet startup called Pied Piper and highlights all that is strange and unusual about the Silicon Valley lifestyle.

Critical response to the show has been universally positive, the first three seasons averaging 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, and audiences have made the show a pop culture cornerstone.

The Silicon Valley figures to be released by Funko exhibit a growing improvement in design quality and, remarkably, bear a striking resemblance to their real life counterparts despite having no eye definition, no mouth, and an oversized head.

A complete checklist of all the Funko Pop Television figures can be found under the tab at the top of this page. The figures being added to the line under Silicon Valley branding are as follows:

  • 431 – Richard
  • 432 – Erlich
  • 433 – Dinesh
  • 434 – Gilfoyle
  • 435 – Jared

It seems highly likely that this particular license will feature future waves of releases and is a natural fit for retail and comic con exclusives, all of which will be included on the Television checklist as they are released.
