Funko Pop Sandlot figures have been added to the expansive Funko Pop Movies line of collectible vinyl figures. Coming to stores in June 2018, the wave of figures was announced just days before the start of baseball season and will surely be a sought after collectible for fans of the iconic baseball movie.
In all, there are seven figures in this initial wave with three being retail exclusives. A complete checklist for the Movies line can be found under the main tab of this hub – Sandlot figures are as follows:
- 567 – Smalls
- 568 – Benny
- 569 – Squints
- 570 – Ham
- 571 – The Beast (GameStop exclusive)
- Two Pack – Squints & Wendy Peffercorn (Target Exclusive)
The figure for Squints included in the Target two-pack is a different than figure 569, featuring Squints in his swim trunks.
The Sandlot was released in 1993 and these figures help celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary. The Milwaukee Brewers went viral during spring training with a shot for shot recreation of an iconic Sandlot scene
