The Baseball Hall of Fame museum was founded in Cooperstown New York in 1939 by Stephen Carlton Clark and has undergone several enhancements over the years including a library. Every year the Baseball Writers Association of America, and several other committees, name new players worthy of induction into the hall with eligibility beginning five years after a player has retired.
Our checklist below includes all of the people inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame and can be searched or sorted by induction year, player name, baseball team, vote %, and other factors. Be sure to follow this page using the button at the top of the screen so that you never miss articles related to hall of fame players as well as announcements of new inductees.
